Campaign 2025

Evangelical Campaign in Romania 2025 – God’s Power in Action

Arrival and First Days
Our journey started from Torp Airport on April 25th, and we landed in Bucharest on April 26th at 00:30. But right from the start we faced challenges – the mission vehicle that was supposed to pick us up, an old scrapped police car with space for seven, broke down on the way from Brașov to Bucharest. Josef, who was supposed to drive us, had to borrow an extra car and was delayed by two hours. We got to bed at 04:30, exhausted but grateful to be there.

On the first day we celebrated Pastor Lucas’ birthday with his family – a pleasant start to a week filled with miracles.

Sunday, April 27th: Dobroșeni and Budila – God’s surprises
Early Sunday morning we went to a small church in Dobroșeni. We expected around 50 children, but over 200 showed up! The church was packed, and God’s spirit was working mightily:

  • 67 adults and 15 children were healed

  • 13 adults came to faith

  • 120 food bags were distributed

Later that day we went to Budila, where we distributed 200 food bags. Here 83 adults were healed and 42 were saved. God moved in a way we could not have predicted!

Monday, April 28: Visiting the weakest
This day we visited the home of co-worker Lorencio, where the conditions were very basic – with an outdoor toilet and poor housing. They need help, and we prayed that God would open doors for them.

Then we met an orphaned sibling couple at home. Their roof was partially destroyed by fire, but we remembered the girl from the meeting the day before – she had been healed of a headache, and the healing lasted!

We also visited a 68-year-old woman who in 2023 was miraculously healed of cancer. The doctors had given her a short time to live, but Jesus gave her life! Still, she and her husband struggled—they hadn’t eaten in three days and had to beg neighbors for food. When we arrived, she said, “This is an answer to prayer!” We prayed for her husband, and four of her family have come to faith thanks to her healing.

In the afternoon, we went to a small village where we had previously built a house for a family. We distributed food to 40 families, held an outdoor meeting, and saw one person come to faith. Many were touched as we prayed for the sick.

Tuesday, April 29: Racos—a church filled to the brim
In Racos, two hours from Brașov, the church was so full that all the chairs had to be removed—people sat on the floor. One boy even sat under the camera tripod because it was so cramped! But God's power was strong:

  • 36 adults and 60 children saved

  • 67 adults and 105 children healed

  • 120 food bags distributed

Wednesday, April 30: A miracle at the crossroads
The plan was to visit a church in Bodila, but we didn't have enough food bags. But God had a different plan – Pastor Luca had a dream to hold an outdoor meeting at a crossroads. The councilor gave permission, and God's presence was powerful:

  • 83 sick people healed

  • 12 adults and 25 children saved

  • 63 children healed

A man asked Per to follow him home because there were "evil spirits" there. When Per arrived, the man knelt down and gave his life to Jesus. His wife had dreamed that Christians would come that day – God had prepared the way!

Another woman asked Hans Inge to visit her sick mother. When they prayed for her, a "power like a storm" came, and she was immediately pain-free!

Thursday, May 1st: National Day and New Miracles
On Romania’s National Day, we celebrated at the mission house with traditional food. Later, we visited a family where the man had severe shoulder pain after carrying heavy objects. After prayer, he was able to lift his arm again – completely pain-free!

Friday, May 2nd: Healing over the phone
Terje went home, but God’s power continued to work. We prayed for Emanuel’s brother in Spain, who had a broken back after an accident 7 years ago. Two screws were broken, and the pain was unbearable. When we prayed over the phone, he was healed! But what we didn’t know was that his sister was also sick – she was healed at the same time, without us even praying for her!

Later, we visited a woman who had just come out of the hospital after three failed stomach surgeries. She couldn’t eat normally and was in a lot of pain. After prayer, she went out to do some grocery shopping – completely pain-free!

Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th May: Herculian – bananas, prayer and joy
We bought 500 bananas, biscuits and chocolate for 10,000 kr and went to Herculian for outdoor meetings. The following Sunday a man came who had been in bed for a year due to pain. After prayer he walked out of the church on his own two feet – radiant with joy!

Thank you, Jesus!
This journey was filled with miracles, salvation and hope. God showed his love in ways we could not imagine. He is truly the same today as yesterday and forever!
